We caught up with Sharon Stone, one of our Field Delivery Managers, as she shares how our teams ensure consistent in-store execution for maximum field sales results and why having field teams can help brands stand out from the competition.
"My career journey to exceptional field sales delivery spans Automotive, On-Trade, Retail, Sampling, Mystery Shopping, and FMCG, my path has been diverse, but one thing has always driven me, people. I love finding ways to make work experiences better, helping others believe in themselves, and uncovering talents they didn’t know they had that’s what makes me proud. Partnering with brands to deliver impactful experiences and introduce new products excites me, the energy of these moments is what I love the most."
A great day is when everything runs smoothly. Our team start the day knowing exactly what needs to be done to drive sales, they get the displays looking spot-on, and they leave the store feeling proud of the difference they’ve made. It’s that mix of energy, teamwork that keeps us all motivated.
It’s all about clear communication and giving our teams the right tools. We make sure everyone knows what ‘good’ looks like and we back that up with clear briefs, reporting, and regular check-ins with field for feedback so we can react if something isn't working. But what’s key is our Managers and Agents take real pride in getting it right – and that’s to do with the calibre of those we employ and our company DNA.
Day One sets the tone. Stock available, POS in place, and stores engaged as early as possible. When we get it right, everything else follows. Customers see the campaign exactly as intended to support an immediate uplift in sales. Every day counts and our teams are dedicated to make sure it does.
Right now, it’s about being quick and adaptable. Our teams are the eyes and ears on the ground, fixing gaps, making sure promotions land properly, and solving problems before they become issues. That speed and flexibility really help brands stay ahead of their competitors. Our Ai and insight in the field is really helping with that.
You can have the best campaign idea, but if it’s not executed properly, stores and customers don't engage. Great execution isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s what makes all the planning and investment pay off. In retail we call this theatre and when the magic happens!
